The Role

You will teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience. The role involves delivering academically rigorous and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students developing strong theoretical understanding alongside practical laboratory skills.

You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons set and mark assessments and track student progress to ensure consistently strong outcomes. Practical work is a key strength of the department and you will be expected to deliver experiments safely and effectively in well-equipped laboratories. You will also contribute to curriculum development enrichment activities and wider academic life such as science clubs competitions or extension programmes.
