Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Translate technical metadata data lineage and reporting logic into clear business-friendly documentation for the enterprise data catalog
- Partner with Data Engineering Data Analytics and business teams to document data sources transformations metrics and quality rules
- Ensure metadata consistency accuracy and completeness across core data domains (e.g. patient provider)
- Support data governance initiatives by documenting standards policies ownership and certification processes
- Identify documentation gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to remediate or retire incomplete or non-compliant data assets
- Develop and maintain data policies related to restricted data retention PHI/PII and enterprise governance standards
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (required)
- 4 6 years of experience in data governance data management or related roles
- 1 2 years of experience working with data catalogs or metadata management tools
- Strong documentation analytical and stakeholder communication skills
- Proficiency in English (read write speak)
