Job Title: Bindery Operator

Location: Raleigh NC

Note: 2nd Shift:3:30 PM To 11:30 PM. They Will Need Steel Toe Shoes Shirts Tucked In Ppe on At All Times And to Have The Expectations Of No Cell Phones On The Production Floor. Mechanical Aptitude/Machine Setup & Adjustment 3- Material Handling (lifting up to 50 lbs)

Top Required Skills:

Ability to read a ruler

Must-Have Skills:

Ability to read work orders and job tickets accurately
Basic math and measurement skills
Mechanical aptitude or ability to pass a mechanical test
Experience operating bindery equipment (cutters folders inserters shrink-wrap machines)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Basic computer/data entry skills
Strong attention to accuracy quality and deadlines
Willingness to work overtime as needed

Nice-to-Have Skills:

3 5 years of bindery or print production experience
Experience with Polar or Seybold cutters
Experience operating MBO Folder PMC card machines and inserters
Troubleshooting production or equipment issues

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Operate bindery equipment according to job tickets and work orders
Set up adjust run clean and shut down bindery machinery
Load and operate cutters folders shrink-wrap PMC and inserter machines
Maintain workflow to meet production schedules and due dates
Report daily production output and material usage
Communicate equipment or order issues to supervisors and team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
3 5 years of related bindery experience
Ability to meet mechanical aptitude requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
Willingness to work overtime and maintain reliable attendance
