Schedule & Job Responsibilities
We are strictly looking for locum tenens coverage for On Call shifts:
Wednesday August 5 starting at 7am - Monday August 10th at 7 am
Monday October 26th starting at 7am - Friday November 6 at 7 am
This would include inpatient and call coverage at both Cedar Falls and Waterloo Medical Center no clinic responsibilities.

Procedures offered in the practice:
History and physical exam admit evaluate diagnose treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages to correct or treat various conditions illnesses and injuries of the extremities spine and associated structures by medical surgical and physical means.
Such conditions include but are not limited to trauma infections tumors metabolic disturbances of the musculoskeletal system deformities injuries and degenerative diseases of the spine hands feet knee hip shoulder and elbow and include primary and secondary muscular problems and the effects of central or peripheral nervous system lesions of the musculoskeletal system.
Orthopedic surgeons may provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies.
They may also assess stabilize and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services.
Facility Reimbursement:
Flights - $750/round trip cap (to include all taxes and fees). No upgraded airfares or seat upgrades
Lodging - 1.5x the GSA rate cap average for the total stay (to include taxes and fees). Preferred Hotel: Fairfield Inn & Suites - Waterloo
Rental Car - $55/day cap (including all taxes and fees) regardless of car class. SUV/upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved (will only be approved if needed for inclement weather). Preferred Rental Car companies: Enterprise or National
Mileage - IRS Standard Rate

Requirement description :
Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery - REQUIRED
Active IA License or Active IMLC (please upload LOQ at time of name clear) - REQUIRED
Fellowship Trained (Orthopedic Surgery) - REQUIRED
Must be experienced - REQUIRED
Must be able to cover the 2 blocks of shifts above - REQUIRED - please note at time of name clear
Clean Malpractice/Background History - REQUIRED - please upload NPDB (must be pulled within the last month or within 90 days)
