Our client an international manufacturer of automated doors is seeking an Installation Coordinator in Mississauga Ontario district branch office. This position will report to the Installation Manager and be involved in supervising and planning of all field installation projects to district end-users and technicians as needed.

Hours of work: 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM Monday to Friday overtime is paid extra.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the installation of the projects with customers sub-contractors & installation technicians.
  • Provide installation forecasts on bi-weekly basis.
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors & installation technicians for 100% completion of the jobs.
  • Maintaining the installation reports for proper invoicing of the projects.
  • Make sure all deficiencies are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Provide start up documents to the customers for start-up of the installation jobs.
  • Liaise with customer for proper scheduling of the jobs.
  • Prioritize installation jobs to meet installation forecasts and budgets.
  • Update project folders with complete installation details.
  • Scheduling of the jobs according to skills matrix available.
  • Coordinate site readiness to avoid delays.
  • Provide technical documentation to the customers.
  • Track & Maintain installation time spent at site and prepare Change Orders accordingly.
  • Keep a track of projects backlog and minimizing the projects backlog.
  • Making sure all projects are installed per the construction schedule of the customers.
  • Update invoicing team with monthly forecasts to meet turn over budget.
  • Getting all the material required for the projects ready and then dispatch at site.
  • Checking and preparing sub-contractors invoices for approval and deal with discrepancies.
  • Making sure all distribution orders are shipped on time and are turned over in time.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 experience in a field installation capacity or related environment
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Engineering in any discipline is required.
  • Project coordination experience in construction or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure situations.
  • Must work well within a team environment and be a team player.
  • Ability to interact well with different employees and personalities.
  • Possess the flexibility to work a varying schedule (different hours of the day and weekends if necessary).
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Efficient in Baan Word Excel OneNote and Outlook.
