Senior Supply Chain Specialist Wholesale Operations
- Location: Port Washington NY 11050 (Hybrid 3 days in office)
- Duration: 5 Months with possible extension
- Work Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (8 hours/day; some flexibility)
- Pay Rate: $28.57/hr. W2 All Inclusive)
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Supply Chain Sr. Specialist is responsible for contributing to profit and growth of all channels of trade of the Wholesale Division by end-to-end operational oversight of marketing-led initiatives on strategic and brand-driving product placements. The role ensures cross-functional alignment on goals timelines and priorities while communicating effectively with operational support groups and leadership.
With a deep knowledge of SAP the specialist executes market strategies by creating and monitoring order entry capabilities maintaining supply for high-visibility customers and ensuring service excellence and operational performance.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
- Own end-to-end management of marketing initiatives and top business-driving projects across all wholesale customers and brands
- Set project standards and best practices for execution communication and tracking across supply chain and external partners
- Provide executive-ready weekly and ad-hoc status updates
- Collaborate with Sales Marketing Brand Product Sales Operations Go-To-Market Global Supply Chain and Global NPI teams
- Proactively identify risks and constraints; propose mitigation plans
- Escalate and resolve issues through effective relationship management and solution-oriented problem solving
Go-To-Market (GTM)
- Serve as subject matter expert on order execution logic and SAP controls related to GTM strategy
- Partner with brand product and sales leadership to balance strategy inventory and service trade-offs
- Review complex order rejections and exceptions making informed judgment calls
- Identify systemic GTM execution gaps and lead process or policy improvements
Planning
- Own forecast accuracy inventory health and service performance for assigned accounts
- Develop forward-looking analysis to identify risks and opportunities
- Lead customer-level inventory and service discussions with sales and leadership
- Establish planning routines and standards aligned to account behavior
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Business Mathematics Economics Supply Chain or related field
- 5 years of experience in similar supply chain planning or operations roles
- Strong quantitative analytical and mathematical skills
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent MS Office & SAP proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills (Lookups IF statements Pivot Tables)
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
- Experience working with enterprise / legacy database systems
- Ability to access reports build and manipulate queries
- Experience with planning software
- Excellent communication coordination and influencing skills
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with an Agile mindset
- Knowledge of fashion sales cycles and buying practices
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the fashion and accessories industry
- Experience with Order Management cycles
- SAP AFS experience
- Business Intelligence exposure (SAP Business Objects)
- DPM knowledge
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau)
- Experience with automation tools (Power Automate)
- Programming exposure (Python Visual Basic DAX)
- Proven experience leading meetings and cross-functional discussions
