Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary: This position is for an onshore test automation engineer to support the Locate and VL team. This individual will be responsible validating the various technologies placed on the Vehicle Locator applications used by all of our customers to manage market and trade their new vehicle inventory including connected vehicle functions. This testing will involve validating the placement of those technologies in addition to the data that it is intended to capture. You will also be responsible for identifying creating and updating both manual and automated tests to support this team.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Must have 5 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Must have 3 years of automation experience with Selenium.
• Must have 2 years of Databricks/Data Factory experience
• Must have 1 years of experience with Cucumber BDD.
• Must have 1 year experience with Rest Assured.
• Must be proficient in Java and have the ability to code programs from scratch.
• 1 years of experience with Jenkins
• 1 years of experience delivery automation solutions using Agile methodology.
• Experience with Eclipse or similar IDEs
• Experience with Git
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Expectations include a high level of initiative and a strong commitment to job knowledge productivity and attention to detail

Essential Job Functions:

• Create and execute detailed manual test cases from information as related to functional requirements and technical specifications documentation to assure quality and accuracy.
• Create and update Selenium automation scripts to facilitate testing across browsers and mobile devices
• Use appropriate tools to test at UI and Data layer
• Log appropriate defects within Jira when product does not conform to specifications.
• Participate in daily stand-ups with project team as part of the agile methodology.
• Coordinate with development team members regarding defect validation and assist development team members with re-creating defects.
• Create appropriate test cases within TestRail Test Management tool.
• Update tasks information in Jira as appropriate to communicate progress with onshore test lead.

Other Responsibilities:

• Abide by the policies procedures and Code of Conduct of the company.
• Handle personal information (PI) that pertains to any individual (e.g. leads dealers employees job applicants etc.) in accordance with client Privacy Policy and public facing privacy statements on client managed websites.
• Complete any required training.
• Promptly report any known or suspected loss theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of PI to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer or Chief Information Officer.
• Adhere to the companys compliance program.
• Safeguard the companys intellectual property information and assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
