Description
Major Purpose
Provides entry level sourcing Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP) support including development and execution/enforcement of strategies and contracts for commodities of lower value and less complexity
Assists with cost models make vs. buy studies spend analysis invoice issue resolution and other data analyses
Works with Strategic Sourcing to address chronic supplier performance issues and/or validation of suppliers during early supplier selection as part of EPDP
Uses the Achieving Excellence process to manage supplier performance
Work requires discretion and independent judgment reviewed periodically or upon completion

Major Duties
Execute planning activities in a low-complexity supply chain within a defined framework affecting own unit
Carry out supplier management activities to support others or fulfill role requirements
Collate and analyze data using preset tools and formats while working independently
Interpret data and identify possible answers across various processes and precedents
Plan and coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes
Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives and monitor effectiveness
Review existing operations and generate ideas for continuous improvement
Develop understanding of organizational policies procedures and regulatory codes
Obtain authorization for exceptions to mandatory procedures
Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers escalating when required
Produce update and support complex Microsoft documents databases and departmental systems

Open to recent graduate candidates
Preferred
SAP experience
Experience with inventory or parts in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with suppliers
