Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician and Installer to join our team. This role involves receiving inspecting installing maintaining and troubleshooting medical-grade equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with healthcare industry standards. Comprehensive product training will be provided; however a biomedical background is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Receive uncrate check-in and inspect medical-grade equipment upon delivery
Install maintain and repair surgical tables surgical lights surgical booms and SPD equipment
Perform troubleshooting preventive maintenance and minor repairs
Ensure compliance with healthcare safety regulations and industry standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility teams during installations
Work independently while maintaining strong communication with internal teams

Qualifications

Certification or training from an accredited technical school (Biomedical Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
2 3 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and installation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with electrical and HVAC systems is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior healthcare or laboratory experience is beneficial but not required
