Job Summary

Position: QA Tester
Experience: 2 years
Work Location: Kochi (Onsite)
Salary Range: Upto 5 LPA

Key Responsibilities
* Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans test cases and test scenarios
* Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
* Execute functional regression smoke sanity integration and UAT testing
* Identify document and track defects using tools like JIRA Bugzilla or Azure DevOps
* Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
* Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives)
* Perform API testing using tools like Postman (if applicable)
* Execute basic automation scripts (Selenium Cypress TestNG etc.) if required
* Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation
* Support release testing and post-production validation

Required Skills
* 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing
* Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
* Experience in manual testing methodologies
* Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA etc.)
* Basic understanding of SQL for database testing
* Knowledge of automation testing concepts and tools (Selenium/Cypress preferred)
* Understanding of Agile methodologies
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and documentation skills
