Tasks and accountabilities

Design develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks for UI API and integration testing
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and build effective test strategies
Own and improve test coverage reliability and performance of test suites
Strong coding skills in Java Javascript. Typescript and Python (optional)
Hands-on with tools like:JUnit/TestNG
Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
RestAssured / Postman Automation
Cucumber (BDD)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions Azure DevOps Gitlab CICD pipeline Jenkins
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)

Technical/ professional qualifications

Expertise in core Java/JavaScript.
Expertise in a test framework like testNG/Cucumber.
Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks e.g. Playwright - UI/API (preferred) Selenium Cypress
Experience testing RESTful APIs and using tools like Postman REST Assured or similar
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Experience in CI tools (Jenkins GitLabGitHub Action BitBucket).
Experience in build tools (Maven Gradle or any other tools).
Basic experience in SQL/No-SQL(MongoDB).
Knowledge of modern methodologies like BDD Test-Driven Development and Data Driven Testing.
Knowledge of Cloud based systems.
Expertise of setting CI/CD for automation test script using docker.
Strong debugging skills
Good analytical and conceptual skills.
Command over the English language both verbal and in writing.
