Job Summary
Job Description
The successful incumber will be part of the Information Security Department withing the Information Technology Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security automation workflows to improve efficiency consistency and scalability across engineering and operations.
- Leverage Generative AI to support automation accelerate decision-making and improve outcomes across multiple Information Security domains.
- Develop and integrate cloud-native security controls ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture governance and operational requirements.
- Contribute to DevSecOps practices and collaborate with offshore development teams to support secure development environments.
- Lead end-to-end deployment of security tools including requirement gathering RFQ development vendor evaluation proof-of-concept (POC) implementation and handover.
- Maintain and enhance cybersecurity toolsets through regular tuning upgrades and lifecycle refresh planning.
- Support ad-hoc assignments as required by the Cyber Engineering or wider Information Security team.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or equivalent roles.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g. Python PowerShell Bash).
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native security controls.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their application in security contexts.
- Experience in managing cybersecurity tool lifecycles and leading solution deployments including RFQs.
- Experience working in DevSecOps environments and with offshore development teams is an advantage.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP AWS Security Specialty or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently across multiple teams.
