The Role

We are seeking a MSP Account Manager who enjoys building trusted client relationships while translating technology into business value. This role blends technical understanding client advocacy and strategic planningyou will not be expected to know everything but you will be supported by a collaborative engineering and leadership team.

As a MSP Account Manager youll act as a long-term partner to your clients helping them align technology with their goals while ensuring a positive responsive service experience.

What Youll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts

  • Build trusted relationships with business owners executives and stakeholders

  • Translate technical concepts into clear business-focused recommendations

  • Coordinate with internal service project and security teams

  • Participate in QBRs roadmap planning and proactive account reviews (In Person w/Client)

  • Advocate for client needs while maintaining alignment with service standards

Qualifications

Required

  • 3 years of experience in an MSP or IT services environment

  • Experience managing client relationships and technical escalations

  • Strong understanding of networking servers cloud services and cybersecurity concepts

  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly to business stakeholders

  • Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (Florham Park NJ)

Preferred

  • Experience as a MSP Account Manager vCIO or similar client-facing role

  • Familiarity with MSP tools such as:

    • ConnectWise Manage

    • NinjaOne (RMM)

    • CloudRadial

    • Quoter

  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft CompTIA Cisco etc.)
