JOB PURPOSE
This role is at the centre of our Holding team in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Weve got a mix of skills here from Finance and Hospitality to Recruitment People & Culture and Marketing. Think of us as the backbone of the company keeping things running smoothly and helping out everywhere we can. Were the ones who answer questions toss around ideas offer support and plan those fun outings and initiatives everyone loves. Were the reliable crew that everyone counts on to keep things rolling.

Are you eager to gain hands-on experience across Event Management and Coordination Were looking for an ambitious proactive intern with strong project management communication and event coordination skills to join our team.

As an Events intern you will be part of the marketing team of one of the fastest-growing digital agencies in the world. Were focused on representing the DEPT globally whether its to potential clients industry stakeholders or our own employees. And we need your support for that.

Please note: to be eligible for this internship you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize an event from a-z;
• Write invitations devise social media posts set up campaigns and ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day of;
• Research online platforms and come up with recommendations;
• Writing and social skills are instrumental but you are above all a coordinator in heart and soul.

• Assist in the delivery of DEPT events. From vendor coordination and on-site setup to guest registration and post-event wrap-ups;
• Help with Event communication efforts inbox management landing page creation and reconciling event budgets when making event related purchases;
• Sometimes working outside of regular 9-5 when internal event management support is needed;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Have an affinity with project management communication and event planning;

• A strong interest in project management communications and event planning;
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Comfortable working in a structured and analytical way with strong attention to detail;
• A proactive hands-on mindset and willingness to adapt to different challenges;
• Familiarity with Google Workspace especially Google Slides and Google Sheets;
• Currently studying in a field such as Marketing Communications or Commercial Economics;
• Someone ready to creatively problem solve on the spot and have fun while doing it
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
