Job Summary
We are looking for an awesome person and incredible reading Woods School is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team. Surrounded by 250 wooded acres and housed in a state-of-the-art building Windham Woods School serves approximately 210 students grades 1-12 with a variety of learning needs. Our collaborative working environment actively supports the growth of both our students and our staff. Our classes have a maximum of 10 students as weknow how important it is for students to have individualized attention. Reading instruction is delivered in smaller group settings of 1-3 students. Our educational program incorporates the outdoors on a daily basis so students can truly experience hands-on are currently looking for a talented enthusiastic and self-motivated reading teacher to join our staff. You must exude energy and enthusiasm for your work. You must have deep background knowledge in current reading intervention programs and strategies. Knowing that well developed literacy skills allow students the ability to access curriculum we are committed to providing appropriate and targeted interventions to help students reach their reading teacher will be working with small groups to help develop literacy skills including but not limited to: Decoding FluencyComprehensionSpellingVocabulary Development
