Position Summary
Supports the Quincy Nutrition site by maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the building structure process equipment and production areas on the assigned shift. Ensures all sanitation processes are executed in compliance with company policies SSOPs and local state and federal food safety standards. Maintains audit-ready conditions for equipment and work areas to support the next production run. Accurately completes required documentation and fosters a positive collaborative team environment. Shift Hours: 11AM - 7PM.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Huber Sustainability Management System (HSMS) within his/her sphere of influence. This may or may not include compliance with any air permits wastewater permits storm water permits or other rules as presented to the employee as requirements.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as assigned ensuring audit-ready conditions daily.
- Coordinate sanitation activities with production startups shutdowns preventive maintenance and changeovers to minimize downtime.
- Follow sanitation procedures for proper chemical use and concentrations to protect workers and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely sanitation records in compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies.
- Support implementation and sustainment of 5S systems to promote organization and cleanliness across all work areas.
- Respond promptly to sanitation and 5S needs during production to prevent contamination allergen cross-contact and foreign material risks.
- Perform duties designed to control pests and insects within the plant.
- General housekeeping in plants warehouses and office areas including trash removal floor cleaning and spill cleanup.
- Ensure safe and efficient use of equipment tools and PPE; report any injury accident or unsafe condition immediately.
- Comply with GMPs SSOPs HACCP policies and all company rules SOPs and codes of conduct.
- Support product safety quality legality and continuous improvement programs.
- Crosstrain on production roles as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in plant production or food/beverage manufacturing preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Ability to understand and follow safety rules operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Basic oral and written communication skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Ability to stand reach stoop kneel and lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance as needed).
- Available for 12-hour shifts and flexible rotation schedules
Physical Requirements
Works inside Plant facility Warehouses above and underground. Exposed to noise vibration heat cold and ground limestone.

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as an applicants skills performance job responsibilities prior relevant experience certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.

Plant Sanitation | $22.52 -$24.78 |
In addition to base compensation individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
