Position Overview

A leading specialty orthopedic hospital in Manhattan near Union Square is seeking one (1) overnight CT Technologist with X-Ray experience. This role supports a low-volume steady-paced orthopedic imaging environment and requires the ability to work independently during overnight hours.

IMPORTANT SCHEDULING INFORMATION

• Regular Schedule:
  MondayFriday 12:00 AM 8:30 AM (30-minute lunch)

• Training Schedule (First 2 Weeks Only):
  TuesdayFriday 8:30 AM 6:00 PM
  After completion of training the technologist will transition to the overnight schedule.

Caseload & Work Environment

• Daily Caseload: Up to 20 patients (often fewer due to low overnight volume)

• Work Style: Independent coverage during overnight shift

• Patient Population: Pediatrics Adolescents Adults Geriatrics

• Setting:

  • Inpatient

  • Outpatient

  • Emergency Department

  • Adult ICU

• Department Coverage:

  • Orthopedic imaging

  • Exam room and portable imaging

  • Possible rotation across hospital departments and affiliated outpatient/private facilities nearby

Required Certifications & Licensure (Must Be in Hand at Time of Submission)

• ARRT (R) Radiography

• ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography

• New York State Radiologic License (DOH/NYS)

• IV Certification (REQUIRED)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Siemens CT equipment

• Experience with Epic EMR
