Brief Job Summary:
The Lean Coordinator supports the deployment and sustainment of the Rittal Production System (RPS) across operations. This role assists in Lean transformation efforts by coordinating kaizen events supporting process improvement initiatives conducting documentation updates and helping drive daily shopfloor Lean activities. The position plays a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Rittal Production System (RPS).
- Assist in planning coordinating and facilitating kaizen events and Rapid Improvement Workshops.
- Conduct Gemba walks and help document findings improvement opportunities and next steps.
- Support Value Stream Mapping activities and maintain updated process maps and workflow documentation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement Lean tools such as 6S Standard Work and Visual Management.
- Track and report improvement metrics including safety quality delivery and cost measures.
- Help sustain daily management systems and coach teams on Lean principles and practices.
- Document process changes and ensure SOPs work instructions and standards remain current.
- Assist with 6S audits and drive followup action plans to completion.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for Lean training sessions events and transformation initiatives.
- Work collectively with Rittal Germany to align with HQ standards & collaborate for any global Rittal Production system initiatives
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering Operations Business or related field preferred
ORequivalent manufacturing experience
Experience:
- 13 years of experience in manufacturing operations or a continuous improvement role
- Prior exposure to Lean methodologies preferred
- Experience participating in kaizen events or process improvement projects is a plus
Skills:
- Basic understanding of Lean concepts (6S Standard Work Waste Identification Flow)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform shopfloor observations and collect accurate data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Problemsolving mindset with a desire to learn continuous improvement tools
