The production manager will support the manufacturing team in a fast paced growing environment. They will have the opportunity to help guide a team tasked with building SolarEdges smart energy products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of production associates while pushing metric goals and directing operations on the production floor
- Responsible for team KPIs and meeting daily production demand
- Responsible for hiring training performance evaluations incident reporting and disciplinary actions
- Will work with cross-functional teams to meet production goals
- Create and enforce training plans and processes for the production team members
- Ensure team member safety by proactively identifying and correcting hazards conducting regular training and encouraging continuous improvement recommendations from the team
- Awareness of raw material availability and potential production constraints
- Constantly looking to correct inefficiencies and improve production processes
- Occasional travel to other sites; possible international travel

Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- AS degree in a scientific or technical field; OR HS Diploma/GED with equivalent manufacturing experience
- Must be available to work between shifts and after hours as needed
- Proven 2 years production team management experience; high-volume production experience preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team atmosphere
- Experience hiring and training new production associates
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the organization both verbally and written
- 5S and/or lean manufacturing processes experience preferred
- Advanced electrical safety knowledge and trainings preferred
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 10%
