About the role
Mater is currently seeking aClinical Coderon a permanent part-time basis working 24 hours per week at our Mater Private Hospital Townsville.
Due to recent staff promotions and internal movements an exciting opportunity has opened for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our Clinical Coding Services team.
You will have the chance to participate in clinical coding across a wide variety of specialties for both public and private patients. The Clinical Coding Service seeks to enable the best possible outcomes for Mater patients and clinicians by employing health information management best practice to facilitate quality health information.
Salary range: $46.96 - $51.73 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!

About you
The successful candidate will have a HIMAA Introductory/Intermediate Clinical Coding Course/Certificate 1V in Clinical Classification (or equivalent) and 1-2 years full time experience coding.
