About the Opportunity
A growing commercial contractor in the Chicago market is expanding their New Construction division and is seeking a strong Project Executivelevel leader. This hire will step into an active backlog support newly awarded work and play a key role in client management and project delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who is polished relationship-focused and experienced managing large commercial projects in the drywall sectors.
What Youll Do
Oversee new construction projects from award through closeout
Regularly meet with clients visit active jobsites and maintain strong customer relationships
Lead negotiations on change orders and resolve A/B-level project issues
Collaborate with internal APMs/PMs who handle much of the internal operational workload
Ensure project schedules budget goals and quality standards are met
Represent the company professionally with owners GCs and project partners
What Were Looking For
Experience indrywall project management
Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize field presence
Capable of owning relationship management more than pure back-office operations
Driven polished and comfortable handling client-facing responsibilities
