Job Description:
L3Harris Space Superiority group has an opening for a Lead Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of qualified diverse individuals. This position will be in Denver CO. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations significantly diverse assignments and a collaborative team setting.
This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Lead Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.
Essential Functions:
- Manage large complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization.
- Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices processes and approaches.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
- Identify record document thoroughly and track bugs through to resolution.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
- Collaborate with system engineers and software developers to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements product design and potential problems.
- Analyze test results detect issues and track root causes in collaboration with the development team.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Excellent organization skills.
- Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in Linux and/or Unix operating systems
- Experience with Satellite Operations
- Proficient at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent)
- Experience in Agile & DevOps methodology and culture
- Software Integration testing
- Platform/CLOUD familiarity/integration and testing
- Payload Platform integration testing (HW to SW) for end-to-end command and control of payload
- Test Automation
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $100000 - $222500 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
