The Job Mission
This role is open to professionals within commutable distance of Bridgwater with relocation support available where required.
You lead logistics planning and operational integration across a major nuclear construction programme.
You ensure safe efficient material flow aligned to project priorities regulations and delivery milestones.
Lead logistics planning aligned to construction schedules and project demand forecasts
Coordinate logistics capacity across short medium and long-term planning horizons
Integrate logistics operations with engineering construction and delivery teams
Manage risks constraints and mitigation actions across logistics delivery plans
Build and lead a high-performing logistics planning and operations team
Develop and manage logistics KPIs reporting and performance improvement actions
Collaborate with senior stakeholders suppliers and third-party logistics partners
Ensure compliance with nuclear safety quality and regulatory requirements
Location: The role is based on site in Bridgwater with frequent travel to warehouses. Hence no hybrid / remote work arrangements are possible for this role.
Qualifications :
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Senior experience leading logistics or supply chain teams in regulated environments
Strong logistics planning expertise on large construction or infrastructure projects
Proven ability to manage capacity constraints and operational risk
Excellent stakeholder engagement including senior and executive level
Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
Experience working within nuclear energy aerospace or similarly regulated sectors
Confident people leader with experience developing high-performing teams
Desirable Skills
Prior experience within the nuclear sector
Knowledge of ONR requirements and nuclear safety culture
Experience using Primavera P6 or similar planning tools
Power BI or logistics performance reporting experience
Exposure to major capital infrastructure programmes
