REPRESENTATIVE, DATA QUALITY CONTROL

The Quality Control Team is an integral part of the MSC organization. The Representative will be working closely with various MSC internal departments to verify and validate customer data and subsequently enter them onto MSC platform accurately and effectively within the specified time frame.

Level of Responsibility

Increased handling tasks with greater independence under general supervision; Contributing to projects with guidance supporting team/organizational objectives. Problems faced are more difficult but typically not complex.

Key Tasks

• Enter company and customer information in internal system database.
• Perform customer validation cleanup and maintain the main data dashboard as well as company systems.
• Work closely with other departments to improve data entry process.
• Identify analyze and resolve data inconsistencies and integrity issues to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
• Perform data analysis for data sets and present results in a meaningful manner and in accordance with project deliverables.
• Communicate with MSC Geneva and SSC Doc center Greece for any data quality issues.
• Produce quality reports with accurate data output when requested.
• Additional responsibilities may be added or modified to meet changing business requirements.

Qualifications :

• Post-secondary diploma required in a relevant field is an asset.
• Up to 2 years of experience preferred (or relevant experience in another role) Shipping experience is an asset. Reporting and analytical skills are required.
• Proficient in computer technologies with foundational knowledge of system analysis and data analytics.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel Power Bi Word PowerPoint).
• Excellent problem-solving detail-oriented and good judgement abilities.
• Resilient proactive and professional attitude with a passion to succeed and learn.
• Ability to successfully develop and maintain positive relations with other departments and be a team player.
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills French is an asset.
