About the Role
As a Data Modeller within our consulting practice you will partner with our clients to understand their unique business challenges and translate them into robust scalable data architectures. You will be responsible for designing conceptual logical and physical data models that serve as the blueprint for high-performance analytics environments. This is a role that demands both technical mastery and the ability to tell a story with data ensuring that every stakeholderfrom the C-suite to the engineering teamunderstands the value and structure of the information they hold.
You will leverage the full power of modern data platforms such as Snowflake Databricks and Google BigQuery. Your work transcends traditional relational modelling; you will navigate the complexities of Data Vault 2.0 Star Schemas and NoSQL structures to design bespoke cloud-native solutions. By integrating seamlessly with DevOps and DataOps workflows you will ensure that our clients data infrastructure is not only accurate but agile resilient and primed for the AI-driven demands of tomorrow.

Qualifications :
To succeed in this role you will bring a blend of technical precision and consultative flair:
- End-to-End Modelling Expertise: Proven ability to deliver Conceptual Logical and Physical data models that align business requirements with technical constraints.
- Modern Platform Mastery: Deep hands-on experience architecting solutions for cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery) and Lakehouse environments (e.g. Databricks).
- Architectural Versatility: Expertise in diverse methodologies including Dimensional Modelling (Kimball) Data Vault 2.0 and the Medallion Architecture.
- Engineering Fluency: Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with transformation frameworks such as dbt ensuring models are successfully implemented in modern data pipelines.
- Strategic Design Patterns: Skilled in advanced techniques such as Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) One-Big-Table (OBT) and decentralized Data Mesh principles.
- Consultative Communication: Ability to Challenge Us and our clients by facilitating workshops and translating complex technical structures into clear business value.
- Tooling Proficiency: Expert-level use of enterprise modelling tools (e.g. Erwin ER/Studio or Hackolade) to document and maintain data lineage and integrity.
