About the position

This role contributes to data quality standards testing and validation processes metadata completeness and data documentation that supports trusted governed and reusable enterprise data assets. The position works closely with data stewards custodians business analysts platform teams and analytics professionals to resolve data quality issues define and document business rules build shared understanding of data meaning and support quality monitoring.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct data profiling to identify anomalies missing values duplicate records rule violations and definitional inconsistencies and apply data quality monitoring routines dashboards and validation processes to assess quality performance risk trends and remediation business and data teams to define remediation approaches escalation paths and business rule clarifications.
  • Document decisions business impacts and prioritisation logic.
  • Coordinate remediation actions across portfolios including ETL logic updates source system corrections if required metadata enhancement and process changes.
  • Contribute to enterprise data quality standards validation processes and definitional clarity across data domains.
  • Document business rules lineage context glossary entries and controlled vocabularies to support metadata completeness and consistent analytics interpretation.
  • Support standardisation of reference data.
  • Translate business data requirements into executable data quality rules (e.g. Informatica SQL platform-native rules).

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in data profiling validation logic anomaly detection quality reporting or data investigation in a complex environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data governance platforms such as Informatica.
  • Experience supporting data glossary reference data structures and metadata management
  • Strong analytical capability in root-cause discovery remediation planning and quality impact assessment.
  • Experience providing training and education to users on using a platform policies and best practices.
