The creation of the Volunteer and Resource Development Division unites the complementary functions of Land Management Real Estate Capital Preservation and Volunteer Engagement into one coordinated program. Together these teams form the foundation of stewardship: protecting maintaining and activating the lands and assets the County already owns while engaging the community in shared respect and responsibility.
As the Parks Preservation and Stewardship Manager (Volunteer and Resource Development Manager) you will lead efforts to maintain and enhance county parks for the entire this role you will oversee the capital replacement program manage budgets and contracts pursue grants and build inclusive volunteer programs. You will serve as the primary liaison with elected officials and partner agencies ensure regulatory compliance and foster collaboration across departments. Additionally you will supervise staff set priorities and champion community-focused initiatives such as after-school programs.
