Position Summary
The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking to fill one (1) clinical faculty position in the Accounting area with an anticipated start date of July 1 2026. The successful candidate will be a creative and effective teacher capable of contributing to the Schools programs primarily to our Master of Accounting ( MAC ) and online MAC programs. The majority of the teaching contributions will be in the field of Auditing including potentially in areas such as accounting information systems. Additionally the successful candidate may be expected to contribute to service (examples include but are not limited to committee work professional talks and mentoring) and impact activities (examples include but are not limited to presentations at meetings and conferences research and publications in field of interest) that positively enhance the School business community and society.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Preferably applicants possess the versatility to teach other accounting courses beyond auditing such as financial reporting and financial statement analysis. Additionally it is preferred that applicants have a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience that includes undergraduate or Master of Accounting programs.
