Job Summary
The Kingdom East School District Student Services is seeking a long-term sub for an Instructional Assistant (IA) to work at the Concord School in Concord VT. This position is anticipated to begin on January 14th 2026 and is anticipated to end after about six weeks. Under the direction of the school administration and the Student Services Director the individual in this position will support students in grades K-8th grade. The pay range for this position is currently $17.21/hr.-$23.57/hr. The preferred candidate will have experience providing care and support to children for growth and learning academic and social skills. A background check and fingerprinting will be required upon employment. Kingdom East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have choice and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their are located about 3 hours from Boston Montreal and Portland ME. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing hiking mountain biking fishing canoeing and other outdoor opportunities. We are close to the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. Both Littleton NH and St. Johnsbury VT have numerous fine and performing arts venues.
