The Park Stewardship Programs team coordinates a number of programs that support environmental awareness beautification and parkland operations. The Park Stewardship Programs team is looking for a Program Assistant to provide support to the Partners in Parks program.
What will you do
- Create engaging online and print media tools for program promotion and communicating to the public via social media platforms newsletters and other online communications
- Organize and deliver educational materials and resources through in-person programs community events and outreach activities
- Respond promptly to phone and email inquiries from residents and participants
- Complete site visits and resource deliveries to program sites
- Perform inventory assessments site visits and data collection using various methods.
- Interpret mapping information using Google Maps and AEGIS
- Maintain materials and equipment used for program delivery
- Manage program files ensuring accurate documentation and organization
- Support program recruitment training communications supply distribution program logistics and recognition activities
- Assist in the assessment of overall program effectiveness
- Track program statistics evaluate performance metrics and assist with program reporting
- Support other programs as required
