Role Requirements
- 2 years experience in a payroll or payroll support role
- Exposure to aged care healthcare construction infrastructure or multi-entity payroll environments
- Working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation awards/EBAs and payroll compliance
- Experience with payroll systems such as Workday Preceda Micropay ADP Chris21 or Employment Hero
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet payroll deadlines
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and payroll systems
- Ability to handle sensitive payroll information with discretion and confidentiality
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with end-to-end processing of weekly payrolls including timesheets payments and leave
- Maintain accurate payroll records across onboarding employee changes and terminations
- Interpret awards EBAs and employment contracts to ensure payroll accuracy
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
- Support compliance checks audits and month-end payroll activities
- Assist with payroll system upgrades documentation and process improvements
- Provide support to senior payroll team members with ad-hoc duties as required
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all payroll data
