Disability Support Worker Beveridge AreaDo you enjoy staying active talking sport or heading out for a kick a workout or a boxing sessionCohort Staffing is looking for an energetic and motivated Disability Support Worker to support a participant in the Beveridge area who has a strong passion for sport football boxing and an active participant has a preference for a male support worker and we are therefore inviting applications from male-identifying support workers who meet the requirements outlined belowShift Availability: 11:00am 8:00pmAbout the Role Supporting a participant with daily living activities Providing person-centred trauma-informed care Supporting community access and engagement Encouraging an active lifestyle and participation in activities aligned with the participants interests Participant Interests Enjoys sport staying active and getting out in the community Looking for a support worker who is energetic and engagingEssential Experience Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions and PTSD Ability to provide calm consistent and respectful supportCompliance & Requirements NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) Working With Children Check (if applicable) Current First Aid & CPR Manual Handling training Australian work rights Valid drivers licence (preferred)To be considered for this role please ensure you complete the Screening questions sent to you from once you have are committed to child safety.
