Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

A limited term position intended for professional development program designed to expose university students to todays challenging healthcare landscape and to encourage interest in healthcare professions. Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality and discretion due to potential exposure to patient and financial information.

Shift: Day Shift 8 Hours Per Week Casual / On Call

Location: St. Petersburg FL

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Manages assigned projects to completion within allocated timelines and ensures project is complete and consultation has occurred with all appropriate parties.
  2. Maintains frequent check-ins with supervisor in order to keep updated on goals and to report on project momentum.
  3. Demonstrates growth by becoming more independent on projects and knowing correct contacts for information.
  4. Participates in ongoing process improvement efforts as assigned by supervisor in order to apply management techniques and advance strategic goals of the department.
  5. Proactively identifies potential projects for the department and identifies possible role for themselves or team member on the project.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Degree program in a variety of professions supporting the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of basic concepts in the field of study.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary Range: Minimum 15.23/hour - Maximum 21.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
