Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Location: Leesburg VA
Contract Duration: 24 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24/hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide hands-on support to children in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) ensure student safety and comfort and support overall well-being in accordance with established care plans and school policies.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including ambulation transfers and repositioning
Support mobility safety and physical comfort throughout the school day
Monitor and report changes in condition to supervisory staff
Assist with basic observations including vital signs and intake/output as assigned
Maintain a clean safe and organized care environment
Provide emotional support and positive encouragement
Follow all infection control safety confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
Prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant Patient Care Assistant or similar role preferred
Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs required
Current CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
Ability to work effectively with children and diverse populations
Strong communication interpersonal and customer service skills
Dependable compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
