How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.

Place orders for inventory and non-inventory items.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with company procurement guidelines.
Support supplier onboarding and due diligence processes.
Maintain effective supplier relationships and manage supplier performance levels.
Obtain competitive pricing for products not covered by existing agreements.
Assist the Finance team to resolve invoice issues with suppliers.
Maintain ERP data for items suppliers prices etc.
Research potential vendors.

Mandatory Qualifications Skills and Experience:

Tertiary qualification in Engineering Business Supply Chain or other technical discipline
2 years of Procurement experience
NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred

Desired Qualifications Skills and Experience:

Technical knowledge in a commodity For example raw materials manufacturing etc.
Experience in sourcing from a global supply base using various contractual models.
Proven success working on cross-functional new product introduction projects completing cost models and negotiating.
Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions.
Exceptional written verbal and presentation communication skills
Ability to identify and resolve technical operational and organizational problems.
Detail-oriented self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment.
