- Implement sales objectives for the organization that appropriately reflect the companys business goals
- Develop and implement sales techniques for employees to ensure targets and goals are successfully met
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume market share and other key financial performance objectives
- Devise plans and strategies for developing business and achieving company sales goals
- Create a workplace culture that fosters success and ongoing business and goal achievement
- Define and oversee sales compensation and incentive programs
- Create an atmosphere where the sales team are encouraged and motivated to achieve their targets
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes
- Oversee all sales reports analyzing data and recognizing when changes need to be implemented
- Design implement and manage sales forecasting planning and budgeting processes
- Implement strategies to develop and expand the companys customer base
- Develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization
- Develop and implement both short- and long-term tactical and strategic plans in accordance with business goals and objectives
- Develop strategic performance metrics and targets that are consistent with company goals
- Manage key partner channels promoting products and services in order to increase sales revenue
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

- Strong formal and informal leadership skills
- Clear and solid understanding of the issues faced by the organization and the sales industry
- Driving regional strategy for use case cross selling on major accounts. Also responsible for GTM strategy formation for the region
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with key external stakeholders
- Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems
- Ability to plan organize develop implement and interpret goals objectives and policies
- Demonstrated experience coordinating strategic and engagement-planning initiatives
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to Drive / coach the Regional Leaders to use the insights from the funnel & forecast tools to improve forecast accuracy and win rate and key trends
- Ability to deal with facts and data with respect to results and does proper level of root cause analysis to drive a thoughtful corrective action plan when the results are trending in the wrong direction
- MBA or an advanced degree in a sales-appropriate field
- 10 years progressive experience in a sales-related field
