The Role: The Service Technician will report to the Service Manager and will primarily be responsible for the service and repair high-end home appliances. This role is ideal for an individua that enjoys being outside and working autonomously to solve problems.
This position is primarily on the road servicing Massachusetts and Rhode Island based customers. This role requires the use of a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and isolate hot tub/sauna problems and repair (including mechanical electrical and plumbing)
- Process invoices and log job details using the computer system in a timely manner
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner discuss any added service that may need to be performed.
- Maintain the inventory on your service vehicle ensuring that you have the parts necessary for upcoming service visits
- Assist in training new employees as requested
- Become a hot tub/sauna water care expert with a full understanding of the supplies and chemicals necessary to maintain proper water chemistry
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings
- Attend manufacturer service training and obtain training certificates
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent is required
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record are required
- Computer proficiency required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Word Excel and Outlook
- Tenacity to find and fix problems
- Some mechanical electrical plumbing carpentry auto maintenance & repair or other technical experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions

Compensation:
