Job Title: Screw Machine Operator / Set-Up Technician (Multi-Spindle)
Location: Tulsa OK
Pay:$25-$45/hour (Based on experience)

Our end-client is a U.S.-based manufacturer that specializes in precision componentsspecifically Access Plugs or Shoulder Plugs for Air Cooled Heat Exchangers. These parts are vital to the operation and maintenance of equipment found in refineries power plants chemical facilities and other industrial sites across the globe. The company is known for delivering cost-effective high-quality products on time.
Position Overview:
We are urgently seeking aScrew Machine Operator/Set-Up Technicianwith experience operatingmulti-spindle screw machines including ACME Wickman or Ace machines. While experience on Ace machines is preferred candidates with relevant screw machine backgrounds are encouraged to
apply. The client is in critical need and ready to hire qualified professionals immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up configure and operate ACME Wickman or similar multi-spindle screw machines
- Load raw materials and install appropriate cutting tools per job specifications
- Monitor tool wear and replace tools to ensure quality and efficiency
- Use precision instruments (e.g. micrometers calipers) to inspect finished parts
- Conduct first article inspections and ensure parts meet exact specifications
- Collaborate with production quality and engineering teams
- Troubleshoot machine issues make adjustments and minimize downtime
- Document machine settings tool changes and production data accurately
- Provide guidance and support to newer operators
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean organized work area
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years operating and setting up ACME or Wickman multi-spindle screw machines
- Experience withAce screw machinesis a plus but not required
Skills:
- Ability to read technical blueprints and use standard precision measuring tools
- Understanding of feeds speeds cams gears and thread rolling head setups
- Ability to sharpen tooling and calculate feed rates and RPMs
- Strong problem-solving communication and teamwork skills
- Capable of performing or assisting with machine repairs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand walk bend lift (10-50 lbs) frequently throughout the day
- Work in a hot noisy and dusty environment when required
- Availability for overtime and occasional weekend work depending on demand
