Job Summary
Scope:
Manage and oversee all warehouse operations ensuring efficient processes and maximize warehouse productivity. Support a supply chain strategy that minimizes inbound and outbound transportation costs with a continuous improvement strategy to reduce packaging costs eliminate wastage while maintaining a good service level for all stakeholders both internally and externally.
Core Warehouse Responsibilities:
Support the Design implementation & maintenance of standard operating procedures for Material Handling System & warehouse operations
Support the implementation and maintain processes to achieve a 99.9% accuracy for all daily spot order and monthly forecast order shipments
Continuous improvement projects
Work closely with warehouse suppliers
Being proactive with Interco manufacturing plants
Maintain excellence in 5S
Core Logistics Responsibilities:
Work closely with freight forwarders to manage both inbound & outbound distribution for all goods being shipped for the IAM throughout Australia & New Zealand
Liaise with freight providers to obtain updated shipment arrival dates
Reconcile freight Invoices
Liaise with suppliers to obtain invoices and tracking documentation
Advanced Shipping Notification creation and weekly updates based on carrier information
Inventory Reporting
Goods receipt of inbound local & international shipments
Education / Qualifications
Tertiary or post trade qualifications in supply chain or related discipline
LF Forklift license
Experience / Professional Skills / Knowledge
Minimum 3 years experience in warehousing logistics and supply chain environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels both verbal and written
Strong system understanding with advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills
Time management and coordination skills
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
The ability to work under pressure and to contractual obligations
A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
