We are looking for a Solution Architect for one of our top clients in NY to lead the design and governance of complex distributed and scalable enterprise systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in Java/Spring Boot cloud and hybrid architectures and enterprise integration patterns along with the leadership skills to drive architectural excellence across the organization.

Location: New York City NY (Hybrid)

Expertise in Java Spring Boot and microservices-based systems. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid cloud/on-prem integration.
Proven experience with compliance frameworks and secure architecture design.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions across on-premises off-premises and cloud-native environments.
Design and implement distributed systems with a focus on low latency high throughput resilience and scalability.
Apply enterprise architecture patterns microservices event-driven architecture and domain-driven design (DDD).
Ensure systems are designed with security compliance and data privacy in mind (e.g. SOC2 HIPAA GDPR).
Establish and lead a Center of Excellence (CoE) for architecture driving standardization of practices tools and frameworks.
Collaborate with Principal Architects and senior stakeholders to define and enforce architecture principles guidelines and reference models.
Lead the development of technology roadmaps strategic initiatives and modernization programs.
Partner with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business goals.
Provide architectural oversight and mentorship to engineering teams across multiple domains.
Conduct architecture reviews risk assessments and performance evaluations.

Requirements

15 years of experience in software engineering and enterprise architecture.
Expertise in Java Spring Boot and microservices-based systems.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid cloud/on-prem integration.
Deep understanding of networking databases (SQL/NoSQL) API design and system observability.
