Experience:

• 15 years total experience with 10 years in manufacturing plants
• Hands-on exposure across:
  • Shop-floor operations
  • Production planning & execution
  • Quality TPM maintenance safety
  • Cost productivity and yield improvement
• Experience in large process-driven manufacturing organizations preferred
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence initiatives end-to-end not just design frameworks

Industry Exposure:

• Electricals / Engineering / Auto / FMCG / Process Manufacturing preferred
• Exposure to multi-line / multi-SKU / high-volume manufacturing environments

1. Role Purpose

The role will be part of the Polycab Excellence Office with responsibility to:

• Drive operating excellence on the shop floor
• Translate excellence frameworks into daily execution
• Work closely with Plant Heads Production Quality Maintenance SCM and Safety teams
• Lead structured improvement programs across productivity cost quality safety and delivery

This is a hands-on operating role not a consulting or audit-only excellence role.

• Ability to run problem-solving on the floor (root cause Gemba data-led action)
