Job Title:Document Specialist
Location:Bloomfield CT (Onsite)
Job Summary:
The Document Specialist will support Ricohs Managed Services operations by preparing scanning and inspecting documents for digital conversion. Responsibilities include document preparation (removing staples clips etc.) barcode insertion scanning and quality control of digital images. The role requires attention to detail reliability and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples clips and bindings.

Insert barcodes and organize batches for digital conversion.
-
Operate commercial scanners (e.g. KODAK) to digitize paper documents.
-
Perform quality checks to ensure image clarity and accuracy.
-
Maintain workflow and production goals in alignment with PS standards.
-
Resolve minor machine issues (clearing jams refilling toner etc.).
-
Accurately complete all related paperwork and data entry tasks.
-
Communicate promptly with managers regarding issues or delays.
-
Maintain an organized clean and safe workstation to minimize errors.
-
Contribute to overall team goals and productivity standards.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Basic PC and typing skills.
-
Ability to read write and communicate clearly in English.
-
Must be reliable punctual and able to work as part of a team.
-
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day).
-
Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs (with assistance available for heavier boxes).

Flexibility to work overtime weekends or holidays as needed based on workload.
