JBS & Associates Accountants & Consultants Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to support our accounting and consulting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering updating and maintaining financial and administrative data while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
This role is essential in supporting our accounting team and maintaining organized accurate records for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter financial client and administrative data into internal systems and databases
Review data for errors inconsistencies or missing information and make corrections as needed
Maintain and update accounting records invoices receipts and client files
Assist with data preparation for accounting reports and audits
Organize scan and file physical and digital documents
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information
Communicate with team members to clarify data discrepancies
Perform general administrative support duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree is a plus)
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in an administrative role (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word) and data entry software
Basic understanding of accounting or financial data is an advantage
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good written and verbal communication skills
