We are looking for a highly engaged Quality Specialist with a technical mindset who can take on a global role working from our Hørsholm site.

Welcome to the Global Quality Management team

Our Global Quality Management team consists of five competent and passionate quality mindset colleagues working together to support the various business areas in compliance questions. Our global team is responsible for driving the global Novonesis certification strategy and the continuous improvement of our Quality Management system as well as supporting cross-functional alignment projects for defining global minimum requirements for quality food and feed safety and dietary supplements.

We operate globally and work closely with Novonesis Regional Quality Operation departments Food and Beverage BioSolutions and Human Health BioSolutions Business Unit Quality teams Quality Intelligence Global Quality Systems and other colleagues from various areas of the organization.

The team reflects the dynamics of diversity that we aim for in Novonesis and we thrive in an atmosphere of supportive and constructive dialogue with colleagues and stakeholders.

While the team emphasizes on-site presence you can over time enjoy a certain flexibility with the option to work from home after a successful onboarding following the global Hybrid Work Guidelines. You will refer to the Head of Global Quality Management.

In this role youll make an impact by:

• Providing support to our global organization in relation to standard compliance (ISO9001 ISO22000 FSSC22000 FAMI-QS) during alignment and combination of high-level management system documents between legacy Novozymes and Chr. Hansen
• Driving the implementation activities as defined by the management system improvement project
• Representing Global Quality Management in various cross-functional process alignment projects to define the global minimum requirements towards Operations
• Leading Global Quality Management projects and activities upon agreement to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
• Performing internal compliance audits as lead auditor (ISO9001 ISO22000 FSSC22000 FAMI-QS Halal) based on our Global Internal audit program
• Supporting the daily activities of Global Quality Management as necessary to maintain compliance
• Contributing to various continuous improvement projects in areas of responsibility

To succeed you must hold:
As a successful Quality Specialist you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Masters degree in Food Science/ Food technology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology or any other related discipline
• At least 5 years of working experience with quality management system within the Food/feed Pharma or Dietary Supplements industry
• Work experience in major biotech food or human health companies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A solid quality mindset with knowledge of national and international regulatory requirements
• In depth knowledge of ISO9001 ISO22000 FSSC22000 FAMI-QS
• Experience with project participation and change management
• Insight of Kosher and Halal scheme requirements and any other product certification schemes
• Experience as Lead auditor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English at business level proficiency

On a more personal level you are passionate about quality and food safety topics and technologies. You are capable of working independently as well as collaboratively you are detail oriented and precise and you embrace change as a driver for improvement. Finally you are a strong communicator who can effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
