Food Service Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to join our team in Castletroy Limerick Ireland. As a vital member of our food service operations you will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

• Assist in food preparation including washing cutting and portioning ingredients
• Serve meals and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment
• Restock serving lines condiment stations and dining areas as needed
• Assist with inventory management and storage of food items and supplies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
• Participate in cleaning and organizing kitchen and dining areas
• Assist with special events and catering services as required

Qualifications :

• Food handling experience
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work schedules
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
• Physical stamina to stand walk and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
