Job Summary

The work location of this role is hybrid meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the business needs of the team.

As a Sales Development Representative you will assist in generating new business opportunities by driving outbound campaigns and creating pipeline for the growing Talent Solutions business.

LinkedIns Talent Solutions helps our customers attract hire and develop the best talent through a suite of innovative products and solutions. With access to over one billion professionals and real time data talent professionals can find and hire the right people to grow their organisations and make them thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify and develop outbound sales leads
  • Run campaigns to generate new sales prospects
  • Accurately track communication with current and potential customers in CRM
  • Partner with Account Executives to design industry-specific outbound efforts
  • Define the best strategy to approach new leads
  • Schedule demonstrations between Account Executives and potential customers 
  • Use social selling techniques to identify sales leads and prospect into them 
  • Effectively manage calls with decision makers to identify the pain which could be addressed by LinkedIns Talent and Learning solutions
  • Align with Account Executives to drive pipeline and growth opportunities

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications 

  • 3 years experience in a metric driven outbound sales role

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience with SaaS opportunities 
  • Experience selling IT solutions
  • Experience working with Dynamics or other CRM platforms 
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel) 
  • Ability to effectively manage time prioritise tasks and work within deadlines
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers
  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others
  • Ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
