Job Summary
Location: FIFO Perth to Cue
Roster: 2/1 - 7 Days 7 Nights 7 Off
Shifts: 12 Hours
Hourly Rate: $57.39 $3.42 Site Allowance Superannuation paid on all hours worked
Type: Permanent Position
Join our team as an All-Rounder Operator where youll play a key role in keeping mining operations running safely and this role youll operate a variety of mobile equipment including Trucks and Loaders with the flexibility to work on any equipment youre verified competent on- including occasional Water Cart operations.
This position is essential for supporting crews across leave absenteeism and operational needs helping ensure continuous production and safe site operations. If youre a versatile operator who thrives in a dynamic environment this role is for you.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate MC Road Trains and Front-End Wheel Loaders safely efficiently and in line with site procedures and production requirements.
- Operate Water Carts as required to support dust suppression and road maintenance.
- Transition between equipment types based on operational needs.
- Conduct pre-start checks report defects or hazards and complete all required safety documentation.
- Maintain accurate records including logbooks pre-starts load plans and compliance paperwork.
- Position and restrain loads safely check vehicle and load dimensions and ensure permits are current.
- Observe licensing regulatory and fatigue management requirements.
- Support other operational tasks during periods of low equipment demand.
- Work collaboratively with Supervisors and crew members to achieve production targets.
- Investigate incidents and potential hazards implementing corrective actions to maintain site safety.
- Ensure all records are legible accurate and traceable to driver and vehicle.

Qualifications :
- Valid Australian MC Drivers Licence
- Loader Ticket (essential)
- Experience driving and operating side-tipper trucks and trailers
- Proven safety record with a strong commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high-level work ethic
- Ability to pass a Commercial Drivers Medical Exam
- Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement
