Job Summary
- Prepare and verify daily financial transactions journal entries and reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions ensuring timely processing
- Assist with income audit revenue checks and variance analysis
- Monitor departmental expenses and support budget control initiatives
- Coordinate with Procurement Stores Front Office F&B and HR teams
- Ensure compliance with internal policies audit standards and local regulations
- Support inventory counts stock reconciliations and cost control activities
- Assist in preparing financial reports and management summaries
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or hotel environment.
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue systems (Opera Cloud Micros POS Sun Systems or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Maldives taxation and accounting standards is an advantage.
