The Risk Service Specialist helps the organization manage its risks by finding evaluating keeping an eye on and reducing operational financial regulatory and compliance risks. This job is done from home and requires working with internal teams clients and stakeholders to make sure that risk-related processes controls and reporting are done correctly and in line with company policies and government rules.
Main Duties:
Help find and evaluate operational compliance and financial risks
Keep an eye on risk indicators and help keep track of actions and controls that reduce risk.
Look at risk data and make reports dashboards and other documents for management to look over.
Help with compliance checks audits and reviews by the government
Help with activities like incident management issue escalation and root cause analysis
Keep accurate records of risk assessments controls and efforts to fix problems.
Work with teams from different departments to make sure that risk management policies are followed.
Answer questions from inside and outside the company about risk management processes.
Help make risk frameworks and procedures better and better all the time.
Make sure that all laws rules and organizational standards are followed.
Qualifications Needed:
You need a bachelors degree in risk management finance business administration accounting or a related field (or the same amount of work experience).
At least three to five years of experience in compliance risk management auditing or a related field
Good at figuring things out and solving problems
Knowing how to manage risk set up internal controls and follow the rules
Good at writing and speaking clearly
Ability to handle many tasks at once while working from home
Being able to use Microsoft Office and risk management or reporting systems well
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications like CRM CRCM CISA CIA or something similar
Experience in industries that are regulated like healthcare insurance and financial services
Knowledge of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks
Experience helping with audits inside or outside the company
Pay for the Year:
Salary Range: $70000 to $100000 a year depending on experience and qualifications.
