Job Summary and Responsibilities

About This Position

In keeping with the Marian Medical Center philosophy the Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing patient care and the ability to practice independently. Also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision the identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluate the results of these interventions for a given patient population.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently working in ICU ER or Interventional Radiology Cath Lab or within the last 2 years.
  • Critical Care nursing experience required primarily in Radiology IR nursing.
  • Current California Registered Nurse license.
  • Current CPR certification AHA - BLS within 30 days of employment.
  • Current ACLS within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Angiographic experience desired.
  • IR experience preferred.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
